- Orano in Mongolia Orano Mining has been present in Mongolia for over 25 years. The company has been successful with its exploration activities, discovering and registering important uranium resources.
- Orano in Uzbekistan Orano is present in Uzbekistan through a partnership with the state enterprise Navoiyuran within the joint venture Nurlikum Mining, which develops the uranium deposit of Djengeldi (province of Navoi).
- Orano in Namibia In Namibia, Orano is represented by its subsidiary Orano Resources Namibia. Orano Mining Namibia has been operating a desalination plant to supply water to local communities. A feasibility study is currently underway for the operation of the Trekkopje mine.
