
Philippe KNOCHE has been Chief Executive Officer of the Orano group since January 2018.
Philippe Knoche is a graduate of École Polytechnique where he was awarded a Master in Materials Science, and of MINES ParisTech. He began his career in 1995 in Brussels as rapporteur on anti-dumping for the European Commission.
Then, in 1998, he took on the role of assistant to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board with the Consortium de Réalisation organization. P. Knoche joined the Areva group in 2000 as Director of Strategy. In 2004, he was appointed Director of
the Processing Business Unit, then, in 2006, Director of the Olkiluoto 3 Project. Subsequently, in 2010, he became head of the Reactors and Services Business Group, and a member of the Group's Executive Committee. He was appointed to the Executive
Board as Chief Operating Officer for nuclear activities. On January 8, 2015, Areva's Board of Directors appointed him Group Chief Executive Officer.
Pascal AUBRET is Senior Executive Vice President of the Recycling Business Unit. He has been a member of the Group's Executive Committee since January 2017.
Pascal Aubret began his career 20 years ago in the automotive industry with Magneti Marelli (Fiat group) where he held different functions. He was appointed Director of one of the production plants in 1998. In 2001, he joined the PSA Peugeot Citroën group as Director of Continuous Improvement within its subsidiary Faurecia. He moved to the Areva group in 2004, joining the La Hague site to head up Industrial Performance, before being appointed Director
of Maintenance there in 2006. In 2008, he became Director of Operations at the Melox site, taking over as Site Director as of September 1, 2009.
Patrick CHAMPALAUNE is Senior Executive Vice President, Customers and Strategy. He has been a member of the Group's Executive Committee since January 2018.
David CLAVERIE is Group Chief Financial Officer. He has been a member of the Executive Committee since November 2019.
Frédéric de AGOSTINI is Senior Executive Vice President of the Nuclear Packages and Services Business Unit. He has been a member of the Group's Executive Committee since July 2016.
He spent the first part of his career in the paper industry within the Arjowiggins and LECTA groups holding various positions including R&D engineer, production manager, business manager and plant director on French sites. Frédéric de Agostini joined the Areva group in 2009 as Director of the Tricastin site before becoming Director of Operations for the Chemistry-Enrichment BU two years later. He was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of the Nuclear Packages and Services Business Unit in July of 2016.
Hélène DERRIEN is Senior Executive Vice President, People & Communications. She has been a member of the Executive Committee since February 2020.
Hélène Derrien started her career in 1990 at Alcatel CIT Telecommunication where she held several positions over twelve years, including Regional Human Resources Vice President for Middle East and Africa. In 2003, she joined the PPR Group, subsidiary CFAO (Trading and Distribution), as Human Resources Development Manager. Two years later, Hélène was appointed HR Vice President for the Technology Business Unit of CFAO. Hélène Derrien joined Areva in 2007 and was appointed Vice President HR Management Development. From January 2011, she held the position of the Vice President HR for the Mining Business Group. In April 2013, she was appointed Senior Vice President, Executives Career Management. In July of 2016, she was appointed as Orano's Director of Managerial Development and Compensation Policy. In April 2019, she was asked to head up the Department of Industrial Relations, Social Policy and Executive HR, before being appointed Senior Executive Vice President, People & Communications in February 2020.
Guillaume DUREAU is Senior Executive Vice President of the Projects Business Unit and Director of Research & Development and Innovation. He has been a member of the Group's Executive Committee since 2013.
Guillaume Dureau started his career in 1988 as an economist at the National Institute of Statistics & Economic Studies (INSEE). From 1992 to 2002, he worked for the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. In 2002 he began working for Areva in the role of Vice-President in charge of strategy and internal audit for Framatome ANP, before becoming Senior Vice-President in charge of Strategy and M&A for the Areva group in 2004. In 2006 he became Senior Executive Vice President of the Equipment Business Unit, while also sitting on the board of ETC, a joint Urenco and Areva subsidiary. In 2010 he was appointed CEO of ETC. Between 2013 and 2016, Guillaume Dureau was successively apointed SEVP Front End Business Group, then SEVP Back End Business Group, as well as becoming a member of the Areva group Executive Committee. On July 1, 2016, Guillaume Dureau was appointed Senior Executive Vice President for Customers, Strategy, Innovation and R&D for the Group.
Laurence GAZAGNES is Senior Executive Vice President, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). She has been a member of the Executive Committee since January 2020.
Nicolas MAES is Senior Executive Vice President of the Mining Business Unit. He has been a member of the Orano's Executive Committee since November 2018.
Nicolas Maes began his career in 1999 with the Lafarge group. In 2006, he was named Director of the Cauldon Cement plant in the UK. In 2009, he moved over to Lafarge France headquarters in the role of Marketing Director Central Europe & CIS.In April 2011, he joined the Areva group as Director of Operations for the Mining Business Unit. On June 1, 2014, Nicolas Maes was appointed Director of Areva's Installed Base Activities Division (now part of Framatome). From February to October 2018, he headed Framatome's Operational Excellence and digital transformation program. He was at that time a member of the Framatome Executive Committee. He joined Orano in November 2018.
Jacques PEYTHIEU is Senior Executive Vice President of the Chemistry-Enrichment Business Unit. He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2015.
After graduating from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP Business School), Jacques Peythieu started his career in 1989 with Dow Chemical. In 1992, Jacques Peythieu joined Orano's nuclear cycle business in the Economics and Finance Department. Between 1995 and 2009, he held several positions in Group finance including Chief Financial Officer of the La Hague plant and Chief Financial Officer of the Reactors Business Group. In 2009, he was appointed Director of Strategy and Economic Development for the Mining Business Group. In 2014, he became Director of Orano China. In 2015, he was appointed SEVP of the Group's Mining Business Unit and a member of the Orano Executive Committee.
Corinne SPILIOS is Senior Executive Vice-President, Performance
for the Orano Group, responsible for the Operational Excellence, Purchasing-Supply Chain, Quality, Information systems and digital transformation departments.
She has been a member of the Group's Executive Committee since February 2019. She is also in charge of supervising the SI-nerGIE economic interest group on behalf of the Group.
Corinne SPILIOS started her career in the PSA group in 1995 as a quality engineer in vehicle projects. Between 1998 and 2010, she held various positions as an engineering technical lead and in manufacturing and vehicle projects. In 2011, she was appointed
Quality Director at the Rennes La Janais site. She subsequently headed up the PSA industrial center in Mulhouse from 2014 to June 2018.
Corinne SPILIOS graduated in engineering at HEI and holds a Master in Management and Quality from ENSAM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers engineering school).
Alain VANDERCRUYSSEN is Senior Executive Vice President of the Decommissioning & Services Business Unit. He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2014.
With a university degree in Physical Measurements and trained in Corporate Finance, he started his career as an inspector with the Apave inspection body in France's Nord Picardie region. In the early 1980s, he joined a company specializing in industrial piping, then a few years later, he co-founded a company in the field of non-destructive testing and became Production Manager. He was Technical Director and then Managing Director of CTE-Nordtest, joining the Framatome group before becoming, in the early 2000s, the Director of Nuclear Activities and then Chairman and CEO of the subsidiary JSPM, specialized in the design, manufacture and maintenance of reactor coolant pumps for nuclear power plants.
In 2012, he was appointed to head up Orano's Performance Program, before taking over as SEVP of the Clean-up Business Unit. He led the integration with the Site Value Development BU, and took over the management of the new entity, the " Decommissioning & Services " BU.
