Stéphane Chéry is appointed Orano Executive Vice President, Communications

Stéphane Chéry joins Orano as Head of Group Communications. He will report to Hélène Derrien, Orano's Senior Executive Vice President, People & Communications, member of the Executive Committee.

This appointment is effective as of September 18, 2023.

Since 2017, Stéphane Chéry has held the position of Director of Brand, Advertising and Partnerships for the SNCF group.

He began his career as a freelance journalist for La République du Centre newspaper, before working as a communications officer at the EDF nuclear power plant in Dampierre-en-Burly (Loiret department). In 1999, he joined the Gendarmerie Nationale in the role of communications officer, and then moved to a consultant post with the consulting firm Andersen Consulting (Accenture) in 2001. In 2005, he was hired by the Publicis group and became a partner at Publicis Consultants until 2011 when he joined Airbus Helicopters as Head of External Communications and Press.
