Orano NPS and Technetics sign an exclusive contract for the manufacture of a metal gasket integrated into the TN Eagle package

On the PATRAM symposium, the international conference devoted to the packaging and transport of radioactive materials, being held today in Juan-les-Pins, France, Orano NPS, the Orano group's nuclear logistics subsidiary, and Technetics, a company specializing in metal gaskets for high-tech industries, signed an exclusive contract for its optimized metal gasket model.

This high-performance gasket, which equips the TN Eagle dual-purpose transport and dry storage cask, is a metal gasket with exceptional ageing resistance properties. It contributes to enabling the package to withstand the accidental transport conditions required by international regulations, even after several decades of ageing.
