Work-Study Forum for the nuclear professions

For the fifth year in a row, nuclear sector representatives from throughout the South-East region of France came together to stage what has become a key annual event for employment in the region.

The Work-Study Forum for the nuclear professions (Rencontres de l’alternance des métiers du nucléaire) was held on Wednesday, 14 March at Pierrelatte (in the Drôme department, southern France).

This fifth edition, aimed at informing students and fostering access to the nuclear engineering professions, involved Orano, CEA and EDF, partner companies, local public service employment stakeholders and education institutions.

Nuclear is the 3rd largest industry in France behind the aerospace and automotive sectors, representing some 220,000 professionals and over 2,500 companies, including many SMEs and startups, throughout the country.
