Radioactive purity
The LEA standards are produced from raw materials containing a minimum of radioactive impurities. Care is taken to minimize impurities throughout the production process. Impurities in the finished products are identified and analyzed using α or γ spectrometry.
Impurity contents are stated in the calibration certificate at the reference date.
