The Project Manager (PM) works with members of the Global Development Team (GDT) to develop, track and report on cross-functional, integrated clinical development planning, timelines and risks. The role ensures that the program moves forward at the expected cadence and in accordance with company goals and is a key member of the GDT leadership team.  Job Responsibilities: Partner with Global Development Team (GDT) technical leads to identify key deliverables and activities to be completed, identifies dependencies, and optimizes the sequence of project activities. Manage GDT meetings including developing agendas, documenting decisions and tracking/following up on action items. Ensure cross-functional alignment through the integration of interdependent activities and through the communication of plans and timelines, with specific emphasis on critical path activities. Assist GDT technical leads with anticipating and tracking the execution of required deliverables and assists with navigating project teams through corporate governance. Build out project management tools to support internal program level anticipating, tracking and reporting. Capture project risks, develop mitigation plans and communicates project status clearly internally and externally as appliable. May include supervision of 1-2 junior project planners.

We are seeking a motivated Construction Management Supervisor to support construction activities at one of our uranium mine sites in northern Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Construction Management General Supervisor, this role involves assisting with the successful execution of Industrial construction projects. Overview The Engineering Manager will lead and coordinate all engineering activities for the owner/operator organization of a nuclear uranium enrichment facility. This role requires broad, multidisciplinary engineering expertise and strong leadership skills to ensure that all engineering work is technically sound, regulatory-compliant, and aligned with the project’s safety, schedule, and budget requirements. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical interface for internal stakeholders and project partners. The role spans conceptual design, detailed design oversight, construction support, commissioning, and facility operations planning   Key Responsibilities   • Lead and coordinate all engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical, Civil/Structural, HVAC) throughout the project lifecycle. • Serve as the Engineering Point of Contact for the owner organization; approve technical decisions, oversee design development, and ensure integration across systems. • Ensure engineering deliverables comply with NRC regulations, DOE expectations, and ASME/ANSI standards applicable to enrichment and nuclear facility design. • Manage interfaces with the Systems Engineering teams, licensing teams, EPC contractor(s) and equipment vendors. • Support technical reviews, risk assessments, and design verifications. • Support Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA) development and licensing documentation. • Provide input to procurement specifications and ensure equipment and systems meet design and safety requirements. • Develop and manage the engineering schedule and support budgeting for engineering resources. • Facilitate technical resolution of field issues during construction and commissioning. • Champion Configuration Management and Design Control processes.

Responsibilities include: Provide specialist design services to internal/external customers. Production of design deliverables (e.g. drawings, reports or calculations) to agreed standards of safety, cost, quality and time. Contribute to the economic design of systems and equipment. Oversee the work of others and develop the skills and abilities of others for the benefit of the company. Provide advice and guidance on issues appropriate to their discipline. Actively participate in the development and application of appropriate technical and managerial processes and systems in his/her work area. Organise, supervise, monitor and develop the team to deliver successful outputs. Identify major technical uncertainties and refer them for decision by higher authority. Comply with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and processes applicable to the role. Close working relationships with other Orano sites and client sites may be required, which necessitates regular travel to those sites (dependent upon project). This role can be based at our Westlakes or Warrington  office.

Within the Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer will integrate operational engineering multi-disciplines teams delivering projects at various phases, from FEED to commissioning, or in assistance to Plant Operation in the UK. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include: Delivering and managing technical studies/projects. Design of mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support. Typical deliverables that will be issued: technical note, substantiation notes, mechanical flow diagrams and flow-sheets, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical layout drawings, hazards and malfunctions management, technical specification documentation review from supply chain. Technical studies related to mechanical handling for both handling operations and heavy mechanical transfer systems, powder mechanical processes (transport, milling, and compaction) in high active environment and gloveboxes, compaction and mechanical dismantling technologies. Technical networking within Orano, including with Orano experts. Location: This position can be based at our Warrington, Abingdon or Westlakes office.

To establish and maintain a competent process engineering community across Orano Ltd. staffed by suitably qualified and experienced (SQEP) resources required to deliver Orano commitments and to guide the development of pragmatic, fit-for-purpose EC&I engineering solutions for all Orano Ltd. projects. Accountabilities: Developing, maintaining and sustaining the process engineering capabilities needed to deliver the engineering function. Guide development of pragmatic, fit-for-purpose EC&I engineering solutions for all projects. Ensuring that the EC&I engineering staff deployed to the business are suitably qualified and experienced (SQEP) and capable of fulfilling their assigned roles. Acquiring and allocating internal EC&I engineering resources, enabling resource mobility, and optimising resource deployment to maximise value. Working to develop, maintain and apply EC&I engineering procedures, standards and guides. Recommending EC&I engineering Supply Chain capability requirements and links with parent companies and professional bodies to develop a strategic network of resources and ready access to subject matter experts. Selection, SQEPing and appointment of Principal Engineers and direct reports. The leadership, mentoring, health, safety, career development and performance management of direct reports. Ensuring that appropriate single discipline design reviews are carried out and multi-discipline design reviews are supported in a timely manner. Providing consultancy support, advice and guidance on EC&I engineering matters. Providing EC&I engineering support to ensure that design engineering related risks are identified, and mitigation plans developed. Supporting communication and liaison with regulators as required. Reviewing pertinent EC&I engineering legislation and ensuring that relevant requirements are incorporated in engineering procedures. Collation and dissemination of EC&I engineering LFE. Authorities: To work within financial delegations Appointment of Principal Engineers. In conjunction with the Head of Engineering, set the strategy for recruitment and management of EC&I engineering resources. Recruitment, deployment and redeployment (mobility) of EC&I engineering resources. Intervention to resolve conflicts and, if necessary, recommend suspension of work related to EC&I engineering matters. Access to enable EC&I engineering related audits to be conducted. Approval and implementation of EC&I engineering procedures, guides and standards. Prioritisation and allocation of work assignments within EC&I engineering. The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process.
