Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support & Training Specialist to support our organization's operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and training development efforts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing comprehensive training programs, creating detailed documentation, and ensuring alignment across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation and Compliance
- Develop operating procedures, system descriptions, and process documentation that meet rigorous regulatory and safety requirements
- Ensure all documentation adheres to industry standards and compliance guidelines
- Support readiness reviews, regulatory audits, and inspection processes
- Training Design and Development
- Design comprehensive training modules across multiple delivery formats:
o Classroom-based training
o Digital e-learning platforms
o Simulator-based training
o On-the-job training programs
- Develop training content for diverse roles including operators, technicians, and engineers
- Train key personnel such as team leads, supervisors, and On-the-Job Training Instructors
- Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
- Implement a comprehensive SAT methodology covering:
o Training needs analysis
o Instructional design
o Content development
o Training implementation - o Performance evaluation and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, engineering, procurement, regulatory, and safety teams
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment across departments
- Contribute to strategic planning from design through commissioning phases
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance commissioning and operational strategies
- Develop and implement improvements in training methodologies and documentation processes

Ideal qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Training and Development, Organizational Leadership, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in training development, documentation, or regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in training development software and documentation tools - Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification in training and development
- Experience in technical industries such as manufacturing, energy
