  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to solve technical problems, with guidance on more complex issues.
  • Support the development of mechanical design packages, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Assist in field activities such as installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear, organizational, and customer engineering standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, HVAC, and I&C engineers to ensure integrated system performance.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and constructability.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

  • In applicable states, a PE license may be accepted in lieu of a four-year engineering degree.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance if required by the project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting nuclear or DOE projects.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes, ANSI standards, and nuclear QA requirements.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis software.
