Dad
Well done !! 🎉🎉 But… what does plant layout mean? You lay out… in a plant? 😅
15:58
😂
Haha not exactly 😄 I’m going to be involved in designing
factories for the nuclear industry

Sis
Wait😅 Like nuclear power plants?
16:01
No 😂
Power plants produce electricity.
I'm going to work in plants that process and recycle nuclear fuel

Mom
Congratulations darling 🥰 So what exactly is your role?
16:03
❤️
My role will be to manage the different spaces in the plant so that it operates efficiently.
I'll position different pieces of equipment and map out the piping networks that connect them together.
A bit like the plant's circulatory system...

Sis
Ok… But how are you going to organize all of that? 😬
16:05
😂
We produce drawings and 3D models, and talk to employees in many different types of job
to coordinate everything. We also go out onto the ground to learn from existing facilities.
In fact, a plant layout engineer is a bit like being the industrial architect of the plant

Well done! Ah, okay 👍 I’ve got it now… Well, almost 😅 We’ll talk about it again tonight.

Mom
So basically… You organize everything in the plant so it runs smoothly, right?
We’re very proud of you ❤️
