COVID-19 case at McClean Lake mill - Update

As an update to the message shared on September 21st, Orano Canada continues to only have one positive case of COVID-19 at the McClean Lake site in northern Saskatchewan. It has been determined that the source of the infection was outside of the work environment.

Some employees have been taken into isolation as they had close contact with the positive case or were seated near the person on the inbound flight, but none of these people have tested positive thus far.

McClean Lake site nurses and staff are working very closely with Population Health and the Chief Medical Health Officer on who needs to be isolated and tested. No one will leave site unless they are cleared to do so. At all times we are ensuring that we can continue to operate the mill safely.
