Job description

In this role, you will be a key part of our team at McClean Lake. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and support an administrative team that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes – from managing flights and schedules to providing HR support, coordinating tours and more.

What you’ll accomplish: 

·         Supervise, lead and develop all administrative staff, set annual goals and objectives

·         Provide administrative support in Human Resources functions as required (monitor disability claims, unionized wage progressions, prepare regular HR Reports: weekly and monthly, review timecard audits, prepare time evaluations and other HR support duties as assigned)

·         Monitor mine flight capacities, prepare monthly reports, analyze usage and make on going recommendations/adjustments to flight schedules  as required

·         Develop, implement and maintain the Logistics and Administrative Work Instructions, Procedures and Policies.

·         Coordinate and Organize with internal / external stakeholders Mine/Mill Tours (transportation, camp, mtg rooms, food, gifts, etc.)

·         Provide coverage for Administrative Assistant duties when necessary including performing all logistics duties, room assignments, ordering supplies, reception, etc.

·         Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture

·         Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

·         Other duties as assigned

 

Work Location & Schedule: 
·         McClean Lake Operation
·         14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
o    Schedule may vary depending on projects, team support and planned/unplanned coverage
·         Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
·         Travel day may change depending on operational needs

Ideal qualifications

Qualifications and skills we’re seeking:

·         7+ years experience in Administration and/or Flight / Logistic Management

·         Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered

·         Office Administration Diploma and/or Human Resources diploma is an asset

·         CPA (Payroll) designation is an asset

·         Strong knowledge in MS Office including: Word, Excel, Teams, One Note. Knowledge in Data Base tools, Power BI or similar tools is an asset

·         Strong knowledge in SAP

·         Knowledge in WFN/ADP or another payroll database is an asset

·         Organization and time management skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlines

·         Able to work independently and under pressure

·         Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions, and maintain confidentiality

·         Cooperative and collaborative with the ability to work as part of a team

·         Effective communication skills

·         Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong results/goal orientation

·         Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions, and exercise judgment on sensitive/ confidential issue
