Job description

At Orano, we’re not just powering the future—we’re engineering its foundation. As part of our groundbreaking uranium enrichment IKE Program, we’re redefining what a sustainable nuclear fuel production looks like for the next generation.

We're looking for Systems Engineers who thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments. In this role, you’ll lead the planning, development, and execution of complex engineering systems that integrate safety, cybersecurity, reliability, and performance — all while supporting multidisciplinary teams across chemical, mechanical, electrical, and structural domains. You’ll be at the center of a major nuclear project, ensuring that everything we build meets functional and performance requirements — on time and on budget.

You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with elite engineers and regulatory experts, moving fast, solving hard problems, and making decisions that have real-world consequences. If you're ready to lead at the edge of what's possible in nuclear technology, we want to talk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle — from requirements definition to final integration.
  • Drive functional analysis, allocation, and interface control between systems and subsystems.
  • Coordinate technical execution across cross-functional engineering teams, including I&C, HVAC, and civil disciplines.
  • Monitor progress, report status, flag risks, and deliver recovery plans that keep projects moving.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory frameworks at every stage of design and implementation.
  • Support all phases of development — from conceptual design through commissioning and operational readiness.

Our Full-Time Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance – with generous employer contributions
  • 401(k) with employer matching and contribution amounts
  • Life insurance and Short- and Long-Term Disability insurance provided by the company
  • Generous Paid Time Off and holiday schedules
  • Numerous Training and Development opportunities
  • and more…
