Tellurium
Tellurium isotopes are used for several medical applications. In particular, 123Te and 130Te are used to produce respectively Iodine-123 and Iodine-131, which are veryu currently used radio-pharmaceutical medicines. Those application require a high-level enrichment and a very high chemical purity.

Avec son procédé de séparation isotopique par centrifugation gazeuse utilisant des centrifugeuses de dernière génération, Orano est capable d’enrichir au-delà de 95% le tellure en chacun de ses 8 isotopes naturels (120, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 128 et 130). Orano propose ainsi une solution fiable, éprouvée et performante d’enrichissement du tellure par ultracentrifugation et s'appuie sur une chaîne d'approvisionnement européenne fiable et robuste. Le tellure ainsi purifié isotopiquement peut ensuite être converti par nos soins sous forme d’oxyde.
