Annual Activity Report 2025

Orano - Annual Activity Report 2025 89 RISK CONTROL AND VIGILANCE PLAN 3 Vigilance plan In France and abroad, the group’s employees benefit from psychological consultation from the Listening and Support System (DEA). They also benefited from measures taken within the group to prevent and manage situations of moral or sexual harassment, sexist or discriminatory behavior, backed by provisions for handling whistleblowing alerts brought by the Compliance Department. In 2025, nearly 50 situations were addressed. In the event of a serious incident of harassment or discrimination, emergency psychological support can be accessed regardless of the location of the employee concerned. In France, Orano is continuing to roll out its prevention approach, aligned with all scientific and regulatory recommendations. This includes: ● assessment of risks related to work organization and its transcription in the Single Document for the Assessment of Occupational Risks (DUER); ● carrying out an analysis of the human impact in the event of significant organizational changes. In 2025, 19 analyses concerning new projects in France were carried out and shared with employee representatives; ● conducting surveys on living and health conditions in the workplace at the request of entities; ● the development of managers’ skills regarding prevention of psychosocial risks through dedicated training. For international sites, the regulations or standards for the prevention of psychosocial risks specific to each country are applied. Strengthened governance of the prevention of psychosocial risks and quality of life at work is ensured by the existing joint committees, namely: ● the National Commission for Monitoring and Control of the group’s Health and Prevention Service (CNSC); ● the joint health, safety, security and environment committee (CP3SE), created in 2025 to replace the group CHSCT; and ● the monitoring committee from the agreement on the development of Quality of Life and Working Conditions. Prevention of the risk of a serious incident affecting an employee during a business trip off-site Description of the risk The absence, inadequacy or non-compliance with protective measures during business travel can expose employees to physical and mental risks. Risk prevention Aware of the physical and psychological risks associated with business travel, Orano has deployed a comprehensive system to ensure the health and safety of its employees, whether they are on temporary assignments or expatriates. This system is based on the “Travelers, Residents and Security” procedure, overseen by the Protection Department, and is based on an integrated approach to prevention, support and management of high-risk situations. In terms of prevention, the group provides context analyses, alerts on identified risks and behavioral recommendations adapted to the nature of the mission and the country concerned. This information is disseminated by automatic or personalized messages and supplemented by awareness-raising sessions or specific training courses. Orano complies with ISO 31030, which provides a framework for managing risks associated with business travel. This compliance attests to the robustness of the system and the group’s commitment to guaranteeing a high level of protection for all its internationally mobile staff. Prevention of the risk of a nuclear, industrial or chemical accident on a facility or during transport Description of the risk Orano’s operations can cause a nuclear, industrial or chemical accident on a facility or transport, with potential health consequences for local populations. Nuclear safety and industrial security remain Orano’s priorities. Risk prevention Aware of this risk, the group deploys appropriate prevention measures that include, among other things, risk management measures aimed at mitigating potential technical or human failures, safety studies on facilities, crisis management systems, as well as industrial safety management systems. These measures and their implementation methods are described in Section 3.4.2.2 of this vigilance plan. 3.4.2.2 Prevention of risks to nuclear and industrial safety and the environment The risk to nuclear safety refers to the possibility that an event or failure – whether technical, organizational, human, or natural in origin – could compromise the proper functioning of nuclear facilities or the transport of radioactive substances, potentially impacting surrounding populations and the environment. Preventing risks to safety is a top priority for the group, which implements a dedicated policy and concrete measures at each site and at all levels of the organization. The nuclear industry is one of the most regulated and closely monitored industries in the world. Any anomalies or incidents are systematically reported to the relevant administrative authorities and communicated to the public. Furthermore, prevention of risks to the environment and biodiversity is central to the group’s duty of vigilance. As a responsible industry actor and contributor to low-carbon energy production, the group contributes to the production of low-carbon energy, which the global scientific community, including the IPCC, recognizes as essential to achieving the objectives set by the Paris Agreement.
