As a company under French law, Orano complies with the export control and international sanctions regimes of the United Nations, the European Union, and France, as well as, when they are applicable to the group’s transactions, to the regimes of the United States and the United Kingdom. Due to its activities, Orano is a user, buyer or exporter of dual-use products (whose export is regulated by Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of May 21, 2021). Dual-use products are products that can be diverted from their primary use for other purposes, including proliferation. Their export is regulated by the European Union. The group complies with this regulation in all of its activities and does not market products without ensuring the legality of the transaction in question.
