We are seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Engineer to join the Systems Engineering Group supporting one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in the United States. The CM Engineer will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust configuration management processes to ensure technical consistency, design traceability, and controlled evolution of system baselines across the project lifecycle. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of engineering information and ensuring alignment between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning organizations. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering disciplines, document control, quality assurance, and project management to ensure all technical changes are properly reviewed, approved, and recorded. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the project’s Configuration Management Plan and associated procedures. Establish and manage the Configuration Management database (CMDB) or equivalent tool for tracking baselines, revisions, and change status. Define and maintain system and subsystem baselines, including functional, allocated, and as-built configurations. Administer the Engineering Change Control process with the Engineering Prime Contractor (EPC), ensuring timely review, approval, and documentation of design and configuration changes, including alignment of configuration information between Owner and EPC. Work closely with Systems Engineering, Design Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations to ensure technical alignment and configuration traceability. Support interface management and ensure consistent application of CM processes across all interfacing systems and organizations. Support the EPC with all configuration documentation (drawings, specifications, BOMs, design inputs/outputs) is properly controlled and versioned. Provide CM metrics, reports, and dashboards to project leadership. Participate in audits and verifications to confirm configuration status and compliance. Support readiness for system verification, validation, and commissioning by ensuring complete and accurate configuration records.

The Senior EC&I design engineer will be responsible for supporting the principal EC&I engineer in delivering one or more design projects or leading small EC&I project tasks with the support of other engineers. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. As a EC&I Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include: Delivering design project deliverables. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. Poducing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
